1015 The 'your privacy' tab will appear if you have both the

1017 :ref:`OPACPrivacy` preferences set to 'Allow.' This tab will
1018 allow the patrons to decide how the library keeps their circulation
1023 The patron can choose from three options:
1025 - Forever: keep my reading history without limit. This is the option
1026 for users who want to keep track of what they are reading.
1028 - Default: keep my reading history according to local laws. This is the
1029 default option : the library will keep your reading history for the
1030 duration permitted by local laws.
1032 - Never: Delete my reading history immediately. This will delete all
1033 record of the item that was checked-out upon check-in.
1035 Depending on the patron's suggestions the contents of the ':ref:`Your reading
1036 history <your-reading-history-label>`' tab and the ':ref:`Circulation
1037 History <circulation-history-label>`' tab in the staff client may change.
1039 Regardless of the patron's choice they can delete their reading history
1040 in bulk at any time by clicking the 'Immediate deletion' button.
1044 Clicking this button will not delete items that are currently checked
1045 out, but will clear the patron's past reading history.
1049 In order for the patron to be able to delete their reading history
1050 you must have the :ref:`AnonymousPatron` preference
1053 If you're allowing guarantees to grand permission to their guarantors to

1126 - Hold filled : A notice when you have confirmed the hold is waiting

1131 - Item check-in : A notice that lists all the of the items the

1134 Patrons can choose to receive their notices as a digest by checking the
1135 'Digest only?' box along with the delivery method. A digest is a
1136 combination of all the messages of that type (so all items due in 3 days
1137 in one email) in to one email instead of multiple emails for each alert.
1141 You must choose a delivery method (SMS or Email or Phone) along with
1142 'Digest only?' if you would like to receive a digest of the

1180 If your library has the :ref:`ILLModule` preference set to ‘Enable’ patrons will have the option to make ILL requests when logged in to their OPAC account. From here they can view their existing requests and place new ones.
1184 To place a new interlibrary loan request click on ‘Create a new request’ and choose a request form.
1190 The options displayed are dependent on your ILL configuration. See the ILL backends wiki page at https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/ILL_backends for further explanation.
1194 If you have entered copyright text in the :ref:`ILLModuleCopyrightClearance` preference the text displays here and you need to click ‘Yes’ to accept before continuing.
1196 Complete the publication details as fully as possible. Depending on the form in use you may see the option to add Custom fields for additional information such as notes. Destination branch is a required field, this is the branch you would like the request to be sent to.
1200 Click on 'Create' to submit your request to the library for processing.
1202 Your submitted request will be listed with a status of ‘New request’. Once processed the status will be updated to ‘Requested’.
1204 Click on ‘View’ to make changes or cancel your request.
1206 You cannot edit the form details but you can add a note to request a modification and then click on ‘Submit modifications’ at the bottom of the screen. Your modification will be sent to the library for processing.
1208 For New requests you will also have the option to ‘Request cancellation’. Your request will be updated with the status ‘Cancellation requested’ and can then be removed by library staff.
1210 Purchase Suggestions

1213 If your library has the :ref:`suggestion` preference set
1214 to 'Allow' then patrons will have the option to make purchase
1215 suggestions in several areas in the OPAC.
1217 If you are allowing everyone to see the purchase suggestions made by
1219 :ref:`OPACViewOthersSuggestions` preference,
1220 then there will be a link at the top of your OPAC under the search box.
1224 There will be a link when the patron finds nothing for their search.
1228 And there will be a link on the patron's :ref:`Your purchase
1229 suggestions <your-purchase-suggestions-label>` tab.
1233 Clicking any one of these links will open the purchase suggestion form.
1237 - From the form on the 'Title' is required by the library.
1239 - The Item type list can be edited by editing the SUGGEST\_FORMAT
1240 :ref:`authorized value <authorized-values-label>`.
1242 - If you would like the 'Reason for suggestion' menu shown in the
1243 screenshot above to appear on your suggestions list you need to add
1244 an :ref:`authorized value <authorized-values-label>` category titled
1245 'OPAC\_SUG' and include reasons as values in that list.
1247 - If you would like the patron to be able to choose which branch they
1248 are making a suggestion for you need to set the
1249 :ref:`AllowPurchaseSuggestionBranchChoice`
1250 preference to 'Allow'
1252 Once the form is submitted the data will be saved to the
1253 :ref:`Acquisitions <managing-suggestions-label>` module for the librarians to manage.
